Day 20

This is Scrappy. She's another oldie but goodie. 

She seemed like a sweet girl but I noticed she hung back and was a bit unsure 

while her kennel mate got all the attention. But She's worth a look.

She has a fun personality.

I was missing for a few days (fell into a bit of funk & was busy).

But I'm back again!

Only issue is I'm having my computer worked on tomorrow 

and I'm not sure how long before I get it back..

Day 19

This is Dusty.

He's ADORABLE. 

With a sweet and cuddly personality.

I hate seeing him at the shelter because he's such a lovely old man at 15yrs.

He should live his retirement age in a lovely home where he can be appreciated!

It's the old dogs that make me the saddest and I really wish I could scoop him up and take him home with me...

Day 18

Not lovin' it really... Mostly because I really wanted to show this dog with a glimmering light.

He's so jowl -y! It's pretty adorable looking when he's relaxed.

His name is Stubby and he is HUGE! With a big glorious blocky head!

The photo the shelter has doesn't do his face justice. 

He relaxes when you talk to him and say his name in a buttery voice. :)

He doesn't have a name yet because he's in the lost/found list.

He's a very pretty Red & White Border Collie That I spotted at 

North County Animal Services.

He's not on the website yet.

He's available on Dec 1st but if you're interested it's best to go down and put a HOLD on him.

First Day of Dog A Day

Welcome to my new blog!

I am forcing myself to draw every day and came up with the idea of 

Drawing A Dog A Day!

All artists are aware of the intense Picture Block we can get after a while and we need a little motivation to make sure we draw EVERY DAY so we don't loose our trained hand.

So I've decided that since I find dogs and other animals (but mostly dogs) endlessly fascinating...

I'm going to do a quick sketch every day from now on. No matter what gets in the way... 

Work, Family, Sickness, Alien Invasion...

And I will share it even if I HATE it....

So here's the first 2 days crammed into one post.

I was starting off a bit timid I think...

But who cares! I'm drawing no matter what!
This is just to get me drawing at LEAST once a day ... and hopefully it will be more than just the one drawing.. I'm sure it will.. I tend to keep going after the first picture.
That's the whole point of doing this!
